This is going to be a rather short entry, but I feel it has to be made to ensure that every­one under­stands why I have taken such a step. I have chosen to add a PayPal dona­tion but­ton to the BDSM 101 Gal­lery page. Pro­du­cing the BDSM 101 comic does not only cost Don and myself time, but it costs me money. After all Don has to live and his art­work needs to be appro­pri­ately priced and then payed for.

Pro­du­cing one BDSM 101 strip cur­rently costs 105 US Dol­lars. For­tu­nately I am in a pos­i­tion where I can afford two strips a month to be pub­lished and it still leaves me enough money to do other things for this web-site. I believe that there are more top­ics which could be shown as a BDSM 101 strip, but there is simply not enough money to do that. If the com­munity decides that is worth­while their money to enable me to do so, then I will hap­pily oblidge.

Rules of Engagement

Trans­fer­ring money is always a mat­ter of trust. I will keep these dona­tions com­pletely trans­par­ent. I will make a list pub­lic­ally avail­able which shows (unless you tell me not to show your name) a list of Who donated, how much and when. A second list will show whose dona­tion was used to pay for which strip.

Strips payed for my the com­munity will be owned by the com­munity and shared using one of the Cre­at­ive Com­mons licenses.

I am not doing this for my own finacial gain, I strongly believe that BDSM 101 is not only fun to look at, but also an edu­ca­tional tool. If you feel it is worth your money, how­ever it might be, then I would wel­come your dona­tion and try to util­ise it to the best of my abil­it­ies to cre­ate more strips together with Don.

I am ded­ic­ated to these strips and as a first step, begin­ning with strip num­ber four I will make them avail­able in a lar­ger format, so that any of you may print them out or use them for other bits of private enjoyment.
