Social media and social networking is something I am notoriously bad at. I think that we are isolating ourselves more than we are actually creating meaningful connections by abusing popular social services as a substitute for real relationships. Bridging the gap between myself and my slave in terms of distance was a very important event in my life. Important on many levels and I have written about that in my Proximity entry.
