There is never a need to try and express something again when someone has done it before you and succeeded in doing so. Risk is an integral part of our lives and I strongly believe that those of us who have chosen to live this alternative lifestyle are deliberately taking risks.

We take the risk of being outcasts, simply because the majority does not understand this lifestyle, we risk being misunderstood by our closest friends and even our families. We risk rejection and being outcasts simply because we like to do what others deem unacceptable, yet still we seem to relish it.

I have to apologise. I have been absent for a long time and dedicated a lot of my time to other things than keeping my web-log up to date. Today I wish to rectify this by trying to explain how I perceive my dominance

Who I am

Developed in Japan between the Heian and Tokugawa Ages (9th-12th century), Bushido emerged as a code for Samurai. I believe many of the key elements are important to understanding how to perceive ones own dominance. Apart from the many elements explained much better in the link above there are seven key principles:

1. Gi taking the right decision, with equanimity, the right attitude, the truth. Rectitude.
2. Yu bravery, almost heroism
3. Jin benevolence
4. Rei the essential quality, courtesy
5. Makoto truthfulness
6. Melyo glory and honour
7. Chugo devotion and loyalty.

Rarely do I abuse my blog as a sounding board for my own emotions. Not because they are too private to be shared, but because I strongly believe that there is already enough clutter on the Internet.
